Introduction
The ISO 22301 Lead Implementer course was designed to turn the standard into practice. In addition to mastering the fundamental concepts, clause-by-clause requirements and guidance of ISO 22301, the participant is challenged to establish, implement, maintain and improve a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS), applying a step-by-step BEHAVIOUR methodology, supported by a case study, models and tools that accelerate implementation in a real organisational context.
Everything that is required, from context and scope, to Business Impact Analysis (BIA), the definition of strategies, the development of plans and procedures, exercises, monitoring and continuous improvement, is addressed in an integrated manner, preparing participants to lead a Business Continuity Management Programme that is consistent, evidence-based and aligned with ISO 22301 requirements, whether within their own organisation or in a consultancy context.
The course is aligned with the best practices of the ISO 22300 family, integrating recognised approaches to governance, risk, incident response, testing/exercises and continuous improvement, ensuring solid preparation for ISO 22301 organisational certification and for the associated personal certification.
