Introduction
The ISO 37001 Transition course is based on ISO 37001:2025 and supported by ISO 37001:2016 and Amd 1:2024, following a practical approach supported by a case study, in which participants are invited to interpret changes, map impacts and structure a transition plan.
Throughout the course, participants understand the impact of the new edition on context, interested parties, bribery risk, leadership, anti-bribery culture, conflicts of interest, anti-bribery function, competence, training, communication, documented information, financial and non-financial controls, business associates, raising concerns, investigations, audit and improvement.
As participants progress through the course topics, the main supporting standards and related references are framed, including ISO 37301, ISO 37002, ISO/TS 37008, ISO 37000 and ISO 19011, always from a practical application and organisational coherence perspective. ISO 37001:2025 explicitly includes or reinforces topics such as anti-bribery culture, conflict of interest, planning of changes, training for business associates, non-financial controls with reference to mergers and acquisitions, internal audit programme and review by anti-bribery function.
This course prepares participants for the Certified ISO 37001 Transition personal certification.

Frequently Asked Questions
Objective answers to additional questions about the ISO 37001 Transition course.
Does the transition to ISO 37001:2025 require rebuilding the entire anti-bribery management system?
Not necessarily. In many contexts, the transition requires reviewing, updating and reinforcing existing components, such as context, bribery risk assessment, policy, roles, anti-bribery function, training, communication, third-party control, reporting and audit, without requiring the organisation to start from scratch.
Which components tend to require priority review in a 2016 → 2025 transition?
Priority is usually given to gap analysis, bribery risk assessment, conflicts of interest, the anti-bribery function, training and communication, financial and non-financial controls, business associates, raising concerns mechanisms, internal investigations and the internal audit programme.
Does this course help prepare internal or external audits after the transition?
Yes. The ISO 37001 Transition course helps translate changes in the standard into auditable evidence, documentary updates, responsibilities, records and verification criteria, making it useful for internal audits, external audits, readiness assessments and monitoring system maturity.
Is this course relevant for procurement, legal, HR and third-party management?
Yes. The 2025 edition reinforces cross-functional topics such as due diligence, training for business associates, conflicts of interest, non-financial controls, benefits similar to gifts and hospitality, M&A, reporting mechanisms and response to signs of bribery.
Is this course useful for organisations that have not yet decided whether to certify the system?
Yes. Even without an immediate certification decision, the course helps organisations understand the practical impact of the 2025 edition, the required update effort and the governance, risk, control and evidence elements that should be reinforced to increase maturity and consistency.
