Certification Process Initiation Request

Complete this form to request the Behaviour certification associated with the examination you have passed. Identify the training course you attended, the examination you took and the certification level you wish to obtain.

Following a review of your request, you will receive the documentation and instructions required to formalise your application by email.

This form is intended exclusively for certifications issued by Behaviour.

Please refer to the course page for information on the available certification levels and their requirements. The certification level may differ from the title of the course or examination you completed.

After passing your examination, you have six months to apply for and complete the initial certification process, calculated from the date on which you took and passed that examination. Completing the process within this period does not incur additional late fees.

Completing this form only requests the initiation of the process. It does not replace the submission of the formal application and required documentation, nor does it constitute the award of certification.

Administrative Late Fees

After the six-month period, the following fees apply:

Completing the form within the deadline is not sufficient: the certification process must be completed in full.

Maximum Deadline: Three Years After the Examination

If more than three years have elapsed since the examination date without completion of the certification process, new Behaviour training and a pass in a new examination are mandatory. This requirement applies regardless of the edition or version of the training and examination previously completed, even if the applicable standard or framework has not changed.

Payment of administrative late fees does not extend this maximum deadline or replace compliance with the remaining certification requirements.

After Certification Has Been Awarded

Certification is subject to the validity, maintenance, recertification and transition conditions established by the applicable certification scheme.

Certifications valid for three years: Associate Auditor, Auditor, Lead Auditor, Associate Implementer, Implementer and Lead Implementer levels are subject to recertification at the end of each certification cycle. During the validity period, the annual maintenance credits applicable to the certification level must be fulfilled. Recertification is subject to the applicable fee.

Certifications without professional experience requirements, excluding Associate: for certification pathways subject to the standard-edition update arrangements, certification remains valid until 12 months after publication of the next edition of the applicable standard. Transition must be completed within that period to maintain valid certification.
