Why this course exists

To develop cloud security skills with method, a common language and execution capability, while also supporting preparation for the certification exam.

In many organisations, cloud adoption accelerates faster than the ability to ensure architecture and design, data protection, access control, platform and infrastructure security, operations and compliance in shared environments.

The CCSP® exam is associated with cloud security competencies. The course helps participants consolidate knowledge and practice in the main areas assessed, through a structured preparation approach.

What this course enables you to do

Design cloud security

Consolidate architecture and design principles for cloud services, including criteria to assess providers and shared responsibility models.

Protect data and workloads

Apply concepts and controls for data security, applications and infrastructure in cloud environments, with a focus on risk and evidence.

Operate with control

Strengthen operations security, continuity/DR and operational practices consistent with security and audit requirements.

Manage risk and compliance

Understand legal, risk and compliance topics in cloud environments, supporting decisions and privacy and contracting requirements.

Value for the organisation

  • Stronger common terminology and consistent criteria for cloud security, reducing ambiguity in decision-making.
  • Greater ability to assess risk, prioritise controls and justify decisions in cloud architectures and services.
  • Improved operational maturity, including data, platforms, infrastructure, applications, operations and continuity.
  • Professionals better prepared to articulate security, risk and compliance with technical teams and management.

Introduction

The CCSP Exam Preparation Course is professional training in cloud security, intended for professionals who wish to prepare for the CCSP® certification exam.

The course supports professionals involved in the transition to and maintenance of secure cloud-based solutions and services, with a focus on designing, implementing, managing and protecting data, applications and infrastructure, using security practices, policies and procedures applicable in a professional context.

The CCSP Exam Preparation Course addresses the main areas assessed in the exam, including Cloud Concepts, Architecture and Design, Cloud Data Security, Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Security, Cloud Application Security, Cloud Security Operations and Legal, Risk and Compliance. Consolidation is carried out through discussion, original exercises by thematic area and Behaviour® simulation, aimed at transforming knowledge into exam performance.

The training includes proprietary support resources, guided discussion, exercises by thematic area and a final exam simulation.

Note: the term “cloud” is intentionally used in this programme due to its consistency with the professional terminology of the field.

Frequently Asked Questions

Objective answers to common questions about this CCSP Exam Preparation Course and its professional context.

In which cloud scenarios does this course have the greatest impact?
It is especially useful when the organisation already operates in, or is migrating to, cloud and needs to strengthen security by design, data protection, access control, platform and application security, operations and monitoring and compliance, while maintaining coherence with the shared responsibility model and contractual requirements.
What do the knowledge and skills from this course enable participants to do?
They enable participants to design and assess security in cloud architectures, define controls for data, workloads, platforms and applications, structure IAM, support continuity/DR, and frame decisions based on risk, compliance and audit requirements.
Which roles can be strengthened through this course?
The course strengthens capability for roles such as Cloud Security Analyst, Cloud/Security Engineer, Security Architect (Cloud), Enterprise Architect, IAM Lead (Cloud), Security Operations (Cloud), GRC/Compliance (Cloud), Cloud Consultant/Auditor, and support for Security Manager roles in cloud environments.
If the organisation is already “cloud-first”, does this course still make sense?
Yes. The greater the dependency on cloud, the greater the need to ensure consistent governance and controls, reduce risk from misconfiguration, clarify responsibilities between customer and provider, and ensure operational evidence for audits, incidents and regulatory requirements.
What is the difference compared with vendor cloud certifications?
This course works from a vendor-neutral perspective, focused on principles and cross-cutting areas of cloud security, including data, architecture, operations, risk and compliance. Vendor certifications tend to be more oriented towards implementation and the specific services of a given platform.
