CAPM®, PMI® and PMBOK® are registered trademarks of Project Management Institute, Inc. This training is developed and delivered by Behaviour® with its own content, as an independent preparation course for the CAPM® exam.

Why this course exists

To develop project management fundamentals with method, a common language and application capability, while also supporting preparation for the certification exam.

In many organisations, participation in projects exists, but fails in critical areas: common language, lifecycle and role awareness, minimum viable planning, stakeholder management, basic control and the link between delivery and value.

The CAPM® exam is associated with project management fundamentals. The course helps participants consolidate knowledge and practice in the main areas assessed, through a structured preparation approach.

Introduction

The CAPM Exam Preparation Course is professional training in project management, intended for professionals who wish to prepare for the CAPM® certification exam.

The training addresses the main areas assessed in the exam, including Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts, Predictive, Plan-Based Methodologies, Agile Frameworks/Methodologies and Business Analysis Frameworks. Consolidation is carried out through guided review, original practical questions and Behaviour® simulation, where applicable, aimed at transforming knowledge into exam performance.

The training includes proprietary support resources, guided discussion, exercises by thematic area and exam reasoning practice.

This Training Plan and the associated documents are Behaviour®’s own content, protected by Copyright and registered as a literary work with IGAC – Portugal.

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the fundamental concepts of project management and related terminology, at the level required by the exam.
  • Recognise lifecycles, differences between predictive and adaptive approaches, and basic selection criteria.

  • Apply Business Analysis fundamentals, connecting need, requirements, validation, acceptance and value.
  • Reach the exam with structured preparation in the areas publicly indicated by the certification body.

Prerequisites

To attend this course, participants are recommended to have practical contact with project work, even as team members, and availability to practise questions after each session.

Exam(s) and Certification

Certification exam

The certification exam is not included in the course price. Registration, scheduling, delivery, eligibility requirements, certification decision and issuance of the certification are managed directly by the certification body, in accordance with its rules in force. The course does not include the exam, voucher, official materials or certification application process.

Certification requirements
To achieve certification, candidates must successfully take the exam and meet the requirements defined by the certification body, including applicable eligibility and prior education/training requirements. The exam is not included.
