  • Cancel: no refund; you may use the amount towards another course within 1 year (updated conditions).

Note: send communications to training@behaviour-group.com.

Minimum attendance for a certificate of attendance

Yes. Minimum attendance is 80% participation/attendance. This also requires that we receive your training evaluation and proof of payment.

What if I do not meet the minimum attendance?

You may request a statement of attendance by emailing training@behaviour-group.com (evaluation and payment are still required).

What is the difference between a certificate of attendance and a certification diploma?

Certificate of attendance: confirms participation in the training (attendance and completion of the applicable administrative process). It does not validate competence through an exam.

Certification diploma: confirms that you met the certification requirements (with a pass in the exam and, where applicable, experience validation and documentation), issued as part of the certification process.

In some courses, certification may also include a digital badge (badge — digital certification badge).

How long does it take to receive the certificate of attendance?

After the training action evaluation process is completed, which depends on receiving the evaluation from all trainees who participated in that action.

Rules for using materials and recordings

Materials are confidential and for personal use only. Recording, copying, photographing, sharing, or providing them to third parties is prohibited.

Data processing and platforms outside the EU

We use platforms such as Cisco Webex, in compliance with GDPR, collecting the minimum data necessary.

If Behaviour postpones a date, what happens?

Behaviour only reschedules training in exceptional situations or circumstances outside its control. We will always propose a new date.

Does Behaviour guarantee that courses run on the scheduled dates?

We always aim to keep scheduled dates. In exceptional cases—such as insufficient participants, a class already being full, or external circumstances—an alternative date may need to be proposed.

How do I submit a complaint?

Behaviour provides the Complaints Book in accordance with applicable law. To ensure proper registration, handling, and response, complaints must be submitted through the official channels indicated in the joining instructions / on the first day of training, or by email to training@behaviour-group.com. Upon receipt, a reference number is assigned, and the complaint is assessed and responded to in line with the internal procedure.

How do I sign the training documentation?

We recommend using a qualified digital signature (preferably a government-issued eID). If you do not have access to a qualified digital signature, please sign by hand (pen on paper) and send us a scanned copy of the signed document.

What support is provided after the training?
  • For trainees: we provide support with the exam and certification process, as well as clarifying occasional questions related to the programme and training content.
  • For companies: we provide participation reports and evaluation metrics so that organisations can assess training impact and relate it to internal indicators. When requested, we can also support planning additional training pathways aligned with team needs.
Who are Behaviour’s trainers?

We work with professionals, recognised nationally and internationally, with practical experience in consulting, audit and management. In addition to technical knowledge, they bring real cases and best practices into the classroom.

  • Delivered online;
  • On the last day of training or on another agreed date;
  • Maximum timeframe: typically up to 2 months after training.
In which languages can I take the exam?

  • Working webcam and microphone;
  • Quiet environment with no interruptions;

Exam recommendations and rules during the exam session

Before the exam begins, you will be shown the exam rules (depending on the provider — certifying body / exam vendor). Using unauthorised documentation, copying, or disclosing exam content is prohibited.

How do I schedule the exam?

Email exams@behaviour-group.com, suggesting 4 dates and respecting the maximum timeframes communicated.

When will I be informed about the timeframes?

In the proposal/quotation, in the joining instructions email, during the training, and in the post-training email.

How long does the exam take?

The duration is available on each course page and is also stated in the joining instructions and in the scheduling email.

How do I reschedule the exam? Are there fees?
  • Send the request to exams@behaviour-group.com;
  • Notify your unavailability with at least 3 business days’ notice;
  • Suggest 4 alternative dates.

Yes, exam rescheduling is paid. Please email exams@behaviour-group.com to request further information.

What happens if I do not take the exam within the timeframe?

You may schedule a new exam date for an additional fee.

Can I retake the exam if I fail?

Yes. If you have a second-shot entitlement (one additional attempt), you can schedule it. If you do not have a second-shot, you may schedule a new attempt subject to an additional fee. Please refer to the proposal or the commercial terms sent by email.

When and how do I receive the result?

The exam result may be immediate or may take up to 2 months (depending on the exam/provider). You may see the result as soon as you finish the exam or receive it by email at the address you used for the exam.

Certification

How does certification work after passing the exam?
  • You receive application instructions (form + documentation);
  • Experience verification by a verifier — a person who confirms the declared professional experience;
  • The cost may or may not be included in the exam (confirm by email to certification@behaviour-group.com);
  • After validation: digital diploma and/or badge.
Does certification have a version/edition? What does it mean?

Certification is always awarded against a reference/version (for example, an edition of the applicable standard in force at the time of certification). That version is part of the scope of the diploma/badge and determines what was assessed and certified. When the reference is updated (new version in force), the previous certification remains valid within its scope and validity, but it does not automatically convert into the new version.

What is a verifier and why is it needed?

Verifier is the direct supervisor, line manager, or an authorised representative of the organisation who validates the declared professional experience within the scope of the certification.

Can I manage the certification process by phone?

For security and data protection reasons, only by email and using the email address indicated in the exam record. You should therefore use your personal email address, not an institutional one. If you email from an account different from the one used for your exam, we cannot proceed with your process. Always keep your details up to date.

How long does it take to issue the diploma?

After the certification process is validated, the diploma and badge are sent by email. Timing varies depending on how quickly you submit the complete documentation.

Can certification be revoked?

Yes, in case of breach of the code of ethics or failure to meet certification maintenance requirements (as part of the certification/recertification process).

Do I receive an official certificate?

Yes. An official certificate is issued by the certifying body after you successfully complete all requirements of the certification process.

Can I share it on LinkedIn?

Yes. You may post and mention Behaviour Group.

How do I sign the certification documentation?

We recommend using a qualified digital signature (preferably a government-issued eID). If you do not have access to a qualified digital signature, please sign by hand (pen on paper) and send us a scanned copy of the signed document.

Recertification

When should I recertify? And when will I be reminded?

Before the expiry date (typically 3 years). You will receive email reminders (to the email address used in your certification process) between 4 and 6 months before your certification expires. Always keep your details up to date.

How does recertification work?
  • Submission of the form you received by email, documentation and payment;
  • Verification of experience/activities;
  • After validation: new diploma and/or badge.
Does recertification (maintenance) change the version of my certification?

No. Recertification (maintenance) renews the validity of the certification you already hold, keeping the same level and the same version under which the certification was obtained.
If you want to update your certification to the reference currently in force, that is a different process: Transition.

What is Transition and how do I request it?

Transition is the process by which the candidate requests that their certification be updated to reflect the current version of the applicable reference framework.

Transition is not recertification: it requires demonstrating competence in the current version, in accordance with the formal requirements defined in the applicable Certification Scheme (training where required, supporting evidence, and the assessment/exam mechanism).

In general, where required by the scheme, Transition requires completion of Foundation-level training (or recognition of equivalence under the scheme), followed by the Transition assessment/exam.

The specific requirements (training, evidence, and assessment) are always those defined in the current Certification Scheme.

Do I need new training to recertify?

For recertification (maintenance), it is not mandatory to repeat training, provided the candidate meets the maintenance requirements defined in the applicable scheme (CPD credits/training hours, relevant experience, and supporting documentary evidence within the applicable period).

Recertification maintains the level and the version of the certification that was in force in the previous cycle.

To update to the most recent version of the reference framework (where applicable), there is a separate process, Transition, with its own requirements defined in the scheme.

Does external training count for recertification or transition?

Recertification (maintenance):
Yes. External training may be accepted as evidence of continuing professional development, provided it is documented and verifiable (e.g., a certificate showing dates and training hours, identification of the issuing organization, and elements that allow validation) and is thematically aligned with the scope of the certification. Behaviour may request additional documentation or validate the evidence with the issuing organization.

Transition (version update):
As a rule, no. Transition has formal scheme requirements defined to demonstrate knowledge of the current version of the reference framework. For that reason, external training does not replace Behaviour’s Transition requirements (including, where applicable, Behaviour’s Transition training and the assessment/exam foreseen by the scheme). External training may, at most, be accepted as supporting evidence, with no substitutive effect.

My certification has expired. What happens?

Your certification is suspended and you may not use the certification diploma/badge. If you wish to reactivate the certification, your case will need to be assessed. There may be fees per year of delay and, in some cases, new training or a new exam.

Can I reactivate an expired certification?

If reactivation is still possible, and you have the required credits and pay the additional fee per year of delay (in addition to the recertification fee), up to the maximum period defined in the certifying body’s certification scheme, your certification may be reactivated.

How do I sign the recertification or transition documentation?

We recommend using a qualified digital signature (preferably a government-issued eID). If you do not have access to a qualified digital signature, please sign by hand (pen on paper) and send us a scanned copy of the signed document.

Companies & HR

Enrolments and Payments

How can I enrol employees in a course?

Enrolment must be requested by an employee responsible for training enrolments, using a corporate email address, to training@behaviour-group.com, indicating the intended course(s).

After the request, we send the course information, the enrolment form (to be completed and signed by the participant), and the training proposal/contract.

To complete the enrolment, the following is required:

  • Enrolment form completed and digitally signed by the participant
  • Award letter signed by an authorised signatory on behalf of the company
  • Purchase order (if applicable)
  • Proof of payment sent by e-mail

After receiving and validating the documents, enrolment is confirmed by email. About one week before the course, the participant receives the joining instructions with all training details.

We recommend using a qualified digital signature (preferably a government-issued eID). If you do not have access to a qualified digital signature, please sign by hand (pen on paper) and send us a scanned copy of the signed document.

Training for Companies

Can I request exclusive training for my company?

Yes. We deliver In-Company training aligned with each course reference, following the public training plan or fully tailored to the organisation’s reality, processes and objectives, always based on a formal client request.

Can courses be adapted to the company’s industry sector?

Yes. We develop content for sectors such as banking, energy, healthcare, industry, retail, public sector, among others. This means the scenario and all exercises are oriented to the sector. This adaptation is only possible for closed cohorts and requires a formal client request.

What discounts are available for companies?

We offer volume discounts (multiple employees) and discounts for annual plans covering several courses.

Reports, ROI and Compliance

Do we receive participation and certification reports?

We provide reports to HR by email, including attendance, evaluation and training results—useful for audits, ROI and compliance. For exams and certifications, information is sent by email exclusively to the examinee/candidate. Therefore, the employee should inform the company, or the company should request the information from the employee.

Can we measure training return on investment (ROI)?

Yes. We provide metrics that allow companies to assess training ROI—not only based on the immediate post-course results (sent by email to HR), but also 6 and 12 months later (provided trainees and companies respond), to track progress and support ROI analysis.

Are courses aligned with standards and regulations (NIS2, DORA, AI Act, GDPR, ISO, among others)?

Yes. Our portfolio is continuously updated against ISO standards and EU regulations, ensuring relevance and compliance, as well as regular updates aligned with other recognised best practices in the course topics.

Support and Confidentiality

Is there confidentiality in training?

Yes. Training is delivered under full confidentiality regarding processes, cases and data shared, as trainers and trainees sign confidentiality agreements. For trainees, the confidentiality agreement is included on the reverse side of the enrolment form.

Advisory & Audit

Which advisory services does Behaviour provide?

We provide advisory in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Cybersecurity, Operational Resilience, Privacy and Digital Compliance, supporting organisations in decision-making, implementation of requirements and continuous improvement.

What types of audit does Behaviour perform?

We perform audits and assessments of maturity, compliance and control (e.g., ISO, GDPR, regulatory requirements and recognised best practices), with an evidence-based approach focused on outcomes.

How do I request a proposal for advisory or audit?

Email consulting@behaviour-group.com with the intended scope, sector, size, timelines and objectives.

What information is required to prepare a proposal?
  • Objective and scope (e.g., standard/regulation/process/technology);
  • Included business units/services and locations;
  • Desired timeline and execution windows;
  • Point of contact and key stakeholders;
  • Current context (e.g., existing policies, previous audits, tools);
  • Constraints (e.g., confidentiality, access, internal requirements).
Are services remote or on-site?

They can be delivered remotely, on-site or in a hybrid model, depending on scope, evidence requirements and organisational needs.

What deliverables can I expect in an advisory project?

Typically: an executive report, diagnosis/maturity assessment, a prioritised action plan, evidence and recommendations, and (where applicable) governance templates and instruments (policies, procedures, matrices, registers).

What deliverables can I expect in an audit?

Includes the audit plan, criteria and method, evidence collection and validation, findings (conformities/nonconformities/observations), and a final report with recommendations and priorities.

Does Behaviour guarantee audit independence?

Yes. Audits follow principles of independence and objectivity. Where there is a risk of conflict of interest, the engagement is assessed and mitigated (e.g., segregation of duties/teams, scope delimitation, or service refusal where applicable).

Is there confidentiality and data protection in advisory and audit services?

Yes. We apply confidentiality to information, processes and data shared. NDAs are signed and information access and retention mechanisms are defined.

Does Behaviour support preparation for external audits/certification?

Yes. Within advisory, we support preparation and improvement of management systems/controls, including corrective actions, evidence and internal simulations, while respecting the necessary separation between preparation and independent audit.

What are typical delivery timelines?

They depend on scope and the availability of evidence and stakeholders. After receiving minimum information, we propose a phased plan with a timeline and delivery milestones.

Can you work with the organisation’s suppliers/third parties?

Yes, when required by the scope (e.g., supply chains, IT services, cloud providers), subject to client authorisation and confidentiality/access rules.

How is evidence and information access managed?

An evidence collection and validation model is defined (e.g., controlled repository, time-bound access, evidence list, request log), minimising data and ensuring traceability.
