Does Transition replace Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer?

No. Transition focuses on the changes between editions and on updating an existing QMS. Lead Auditor develops the skills to plan, conduct and lead audits; Lead Implementer explores the complete methodology for implementing, operating, maintaining and improving the system.

Does the transition require the entire Quality Management System to be implemented again?

No. The process starts by identifying what remains suitable and effective. Analysing the differences and their impact helps determine what should be retained, updated or strengthened, without unnecessarily reimplementing the system.

Does the training automatically update the organisation’s ISO 9001 certification?

Accepted Answer

No. Professional certification applies to the individual. The transition of QMS certification depends on implementing the requirements of the new edition and completing the process with the organisation’s certification body, in accordance with the applicable provisions.
